Support During the COVID19 Outbreak

In light of the recent COVID19 outbreak and its impact on colleges, universities, organisations and businesses around the world, we are here to offer support to all of our users.

As many of you will have transitioned to online platforms and classes, there is a greater need to make sure that you can access all of Stata's services and still have full support whilst you do so.

Therefore, we will be offering the following additional services during this time:

Extra Licenses for Stata Users

We are contacting Stata license administrators to make sure their users have continued and easy access, including off-campus/remote usage, even if the original Stata license was not set up for this.
If you are a single-user license holder, your license already allows for installation on your home computer or laptop so you can install the software using your existing license information, even if you are installing it on a different operating system.

How to Request Your Licenses

Stata is offering temporary licenses if -
  • You are a license administrator at an academic institution and your campus has closed or restricted access or;
  • You are a license administrator at a business or organization with employees that now need to access your Stata license remotely.
Simply email Stata directly at service@stata.com and include your Stata serial number in your correspondence.

Training Courses

We are reviewing all of our upcoming training courses. Many of these will be moved to online participation instead. If you have registered for any upcoming public attendance courses, we will be contacting you individually with further details.

Free Webinars and Q&As

We will be hosting a selection of free webinars alongside updating our offering of longer web-based training courses. We will also schedule informative Q&A sessions by industry experts in order to help you answer any questions and keep up to date with your research.
